I thought I would take this chance I write a little about what I have seen on the Dark Hand MUD over the last couple years. I have had the opportunity to play here from almost its infancy. Having never played a Star Wars MUD I was impressed in the help I was able to recieve both from the Immortals and the players.
Now that I have had a chance to wander the "Galaxy" of the Dark Hand, I have seen many planets. I, however, don't believe I have seen all of them. I know the staff works hard to make the game play fun and interesting. The planets are definately original. And they keep popping up. {Planets/areas that is.}
The player base is great. Not only are the players in general great, but many are chosen to become "Player Assistants" that are there as specific helpers. There "PA"s are chosen by the Immortals as players that go above and beyond in helping other players with questions.
The choice of clans and the race skils/diversity make it more enjoyable. You can choose a race and excel in a particular specialty, or become a well rounded charcter and use many of the skills.
