I was unsure if top mud sites listed graphical muds as well, but here goes. Forgotten World is a fantastic game that is in open alpha and welcoming new players. It is being developed by remnants of the old Neverwinter Nights Gaming Community from AOL. Those of you who played the old gold box series of games from SSI will find this game very familiar in that the game has been rebuilt in the likeness of the old NWN game.

Gameplay: The old NWN, much like the current Forgotten World, relied on true turn based combat. The best part of all, is that due to turn based combat, PVP is at it best and purest form. PVP in FW requires strategy and is not simply point and click, the player character must think out a battle plan, not just for his/her opponent, but also accounting for the battle map and critters that are in the battle. NPC manipulation is a very large aspect.

Community: The current community loves to roleplay, explore, run quests, booths and pvp (in the PVP zones). The guilds in game hold events and contests and fun is had by all.
