http://crimson.wolfpaw.net telnet://crimson.wolfpaw.net:7777 Hello to everyone! We strive to be a smaug-based medieval fantasy MUD with a difference... ...REALLY worthwhile writing, plus interesting mobs and lots of hidden puzzles, even in the newbie areas! You begin your adventure as one of the basic four classes (fighter, mage, cleric, rogue) and then 'specialize' to a subclass at level 20 - See our listing for more details. Several players have told me they enjoy the depth and detail of the writing in our MUD, the 'personalities' of some of the mobs, and the involved puzzles that translate to hours of fun mudding, whether alone or with friends. We have an enthusiastic immortal staff of three, who are responsive and take the time to help out when needed, but who also know when it is wise to keep distance and let the players play the game. Its true we don't have as many players as we'd like yet, but most of the players who log on, do so between 7pm and 11pm Eastern. We also try to maintain a presence on weekend mornings and afternoons, for those in other timezones. Give us a try, we promise you'll feel the difference! - Jornel (one of the immortals for The Crimson Marches) |
