This is a discussion on "Do you like the wilderness?" in the Top Mud Sites Advertising for Players forum : Rangers have traditionally been foresty-folk that occasionally ambush unsuspecting passer-bys that venture into the woods. Maybe they know how to fiddle with herbs or something too (the damn hippies). Well on Carrion Fields, we decided to go a bit beyond that. How would you like to be a dark-elven cave ranger, that ambushes his enemies by diving on them from his perch in the cavern ceiling? Maybe a fire giant desert savage who forgoes most bulky armor in favor of vicious war paint. Feel like being on the side of the Light instead? Try a storm giant ... |

How would you like to be a dark-elven cave ranger, that ambushes his enemies by diving on them from his perch in the cavern ceiling? Maybe a fire giant desert savage who forgoes most bulky armor in favor of vicious war paint. Feel like being on the side of the Light instead? Try a storm giant mariner hunter wielding nets and harpoons. For all of the ranger fans out there in the mudding community, come experience the myriad of new possibilities available with our six new ranger specialties and seven new ranger home terrains. Races which would never be able to learn their way around the forest can now focus in the terrain that suits them. Call beasts to your side as a Beastmaster, harness the powers of nature magic as an Animist - play the type of ranger you've always wanted to play. And yes, you can still focus on the traditional woodlands too. |
