This is a discussion on "Coming from Other Games" in the Top Mud Sites Advertising for Players forum : One of our players, an ex-GemstoneIII player, kindly contributed a document specifically for helping other people accustomed to that system get used to the nuances of Armageddon. It's Gemstone to Armageddon: A Transistional Guide. I also added a doc to help veteran MUSHers get accustomed to the strange new world of MUDs, and some tips for other people trying to get acclimated, here. We've recently set up new discussion boards (in a format that will be familiar to users of these boards) at http://www.zalanthas.org/phpBB2, ranging from "Help, I'm a Newbie!" ... |

We've recently set up new discussion boards (in a format that will be familiar to users of these boards) at http://www.zalanthas.org/phpBB2, ranging from "Help, I'm a Newbie!" to world, roleplaying and code questions. It says a lot for the game that our players are fanatic enough to work so hard to bring more people aboard, and they deserve a big round of applause.
