Although a bit later than originally planned, we finally launched the astrology
system on Midnight Sun. This, we hope, will add even more depth and atmosphere
to an already rich world.

Midnight Sun is a strictly medieval fantasy LPmud which has been around for more
than 13 years. Today, we have over 10 000 completely original rooms, more than
60 quests (fully optional), 6 guilds (each of them with a unique playing style),
player owned houses, and much more.

Depending on time of day, you will find 10-35 players online and that number has
been fairly stable over the years. But as the world grows, we are always looking
for new players who enjoy a relaxed, non-PK atmosphere and a good community.

We have recently redesigned our webpage, which you can find at

http://midnight-sun.ludd.ltu.se:3328/

May we meet in the land where the sun never sets.

I tried connecting to the server, but it would not connect, it would say it was connected, no title screen would come up or anything, soo I tried with just basic telnet (winxp) and it connected, although I couldn't input anything... know what could be the issue?

What client did you try connecting with first? What host/port settings did you use? There is a GMUD download on our webpage that already has all the settings in it - I just checked it and it works.

Windows XP telnet is a chapter to itself.
