Advertising for Players

I am not going to tell you about the plots and intrigue. I am not going to tell you about playing flying dragons, or lil magickal beings that not only fly but can take empathic damage (best healers in the realm) I am not going to tell you about the hundreds of class / species combonations, or our acadamy that introduces you to our world better than any I have ever seen.

I am not even going to boast and say you need to be in Dragon's Gate ... cuz thats where i am!

I'm going to let the pictures do the talking, these are real life pictures of our players, their comments, and pictures of our characters (we need more of these I admit, but we are working on it!

nice... frist time ive seen RL player pics...makes the game more... to the personal level at least i know what they look like on the other side of the screen... nice site btw

Thanks! Cant in any way take credit for the site, it was done by some of our fellow players (that picture site was done by Alya Kespers player and Mebok's player), they did an awesome job. Next month when I do a pitch again ... I will link you to one or more of our player run newspapers, several of the cities in our world have them. Or maybe to some of our player run guild sites ... again ... can't take credit for anything except being smart enough to be a part of a community with talented people.

Ah well, Ryan'll make me do it sometime.

We had an interesting thread on our boards about how some people like to see the real picture beind the player if they've played a long time and about how others believe seeing the real picture destroys their RP perspective. Guess everyone is different and needs different things.

One of the first things I did while scoping out a couple of the muds on this site was that I was curious about player pics... and character names.
