Unexplained Genetic Expression changed the RACE lines from color
to species. Trolls, Elves and other creatures of legend now walk
the earth and bring racial tension to new levels.

Corporations, powers unto themselves, engage in silent shadow wars
for dominance. In their quest for superiority, they hire freelance
agents known as Shadowrunners.

Shadowrunners come in all shapes and sizes, from the human
computer-whiz to the troll mercenary to the elven shaman.
They work for hire, loyal only to themselves, and fight for money,
reputation, and survival.

Also, since the shadowrun priority system can be a bit overwhelming for the player new to shadowrun, we have included several archetype characters that will get you into the game nearly instantly.
