This is a discussion on "Try something with an interesting twist..." in the Top Mud Sites Advertising for Players forum : Realms of the Lost Dimension is a relatively new MUD running off of TLDC 3.5, a new codebase derived from ACK!MUD 4.3.1 - a less wide-spread codebase which already offered quite a few unique features before I made my additions to it. The player base is small, but steadily growing... reguarly hitting 10 - 15 players at peak times. The player base is small, but steadily growing... reguarly hitting 10 - 15 players at peak times. TLDC is based on the idea you have to complete all of an areas' quests and mobs to get the majority of points, and infinite level gaining. It takes a little getting used to but is not too hard to learn. Most everyone catches on without any trouble, and seem to really enjoy it. I'm constantly being given ideas by players who want to see the mud become even better.
