Hello
It's funny looking back on things. I remember when Star Wars: Uprising was just a new site, having started things back in the final days of November 2000 -- how time flies. Recently we've altered our theme, and after being stagnant and even sporadic at times over the past few years, well, we're beginning to grow again. Set during the Star Wars trilogy, right after the destruction of the Death Star at the Battle of Yavin, we open with a different take on the whole theme, or we like to think that. An anomaly in space has rendered hyperspace travel out of the Tatooine system impossible. What's more, every day new people arrive either by choice, or pulled out of lightspeed by the anomaly. A lone Strike Cruiser, the Retribution, tries to maintain some degree of order, as tensions mount... We have a lot of coded systems, and though we're still by no means complete, things are improving again. We have a solid chargen and language system, a well-liked space system, and a Tatooine build that seems rather popular. Code aside, our main focus is Roleplay. I know that doesn't appeal to everyone, so please keep that in mind. We don't have coded combat, or trade, so if your reason for joining us isn't RP, you'll probably not fit in, and end up disappointed. Though Jedi and Feature Characters are not available for application, we are open to many, many types of characters besides these. For more information, stop by the address listed below, and contact a member of +staff. All of them are more than happy to help you out in getting used to our MUSH, or even just answer questions about our game: swu.xidus.net 1138 Alternatively, check out the website for Star Wars: Uprising MUSH Hope to be seeing you! ~Tarison |
