A while back I found THe mud for me, unfortanly, I can't aford what they are charging

it was "wonderfull"

I was was a mage,so hunting was my main means of advancement, when I got tried of that , I 'd find my crafing friend and sit chat(IC stuff!!!!

one thing I've found with most RP muds is that you close friends are a resualt of some "plot" or something of the like.

This wasn't like that whn you ran into people you useally stop and say hi or what , my crafting friend was someone that I just ran into, and start taking, and beame buddies.

one thing I think help the mud was the well layed out racial RP giudlines


I was truly sucked in to the game.

WHAT I DON"T WANT:
perma death, I want to RP, not re-inventing myself constantly
IMM controled plot, Mushs?
global channels/shouts: even IC distrubes the environtment
DikuMUDS/spinoffs, unless you remove the skill % system % of what? it's just cheesy.

SLOW server(armageddon)

ps I kinda like to be able to PCs, from NPCs, a few MUDS I got got really ****ed cause I thought everyone was ignoring me, turned out to be NPCs

As far as I can tell, he is looking for a new MUD and here are some of the things he would be interested in:

It needs to be FREE, not pay-to-play
Easy to understand leveling and/or skill system
No, or very limited PK
Lag free server (and I imagine while he is wishing, he could ask for crash-proof code too)
Plenty of RP with no IMM restrictions on RP
No global channels to hinder IC qualities

and as a bonus, we should toss in: English as a 2nd Language for Dummies™.

At this point I might risk ticking off Dulan and slip in a weak advertisement...but we already met our quota of kids lacking in grammar/spelling skills.
