Your name is Gerr, and you have no last name. Your father died of the sleeping sickness at the age of thirty. Your mother died of a disease she caught working at the local whorehouse to be able to put moldy bread in your stomach. If a noble with a sword decides that you're in his way, there is absolutely nothing stopping him from taking your life away from you in an instant. You are less than a person, and have been locked away in a walled district the size of Delaware, forced to eke out a living in a post-plague ruins where the lawless rule.

Many give in to the desperation, and focus their rage outwards, becoming thieves and brigands and dealers of contraband, eager to make their betters suffer as they do. Some do whatever it takes to survive, subjecting themselves to fights to the death, working in places of ill repute, and working as thugs for nobles too clean for the pummelling arts. A bitter few try their hands at honorable trades, only to become the victims of muggings for their hard-earned coin.

It is a dark, dark world. Can you survive? Better yet, can you thrive?

Have you guys gotten rid of the three RL hour walking time from screen to screen?
