Advertising for Players

We have often been told that our MUD is one of the best out there, EXCEPT

for the fact we have so few players. In these days of huge graphical MUDS, its hard for a text MUD to survive, yet we have been around for over 10 years. During that time, we have created something we are very proud of.

*We have an entirely original world with well written descriptions and well thought out colors.
*Lots of inset quests
*Professions such as monk, crusader, knight, amazon, bard, shapeshifter, archer, templar, soulreaper and more.
*Standard classes such as paladin, mage, thief, warrior, with additions such as elementalist and dreadknight.
*We have added many unique spells and skills for each class.
*Global note system
*and so much more.

We get players who come by consistently and love us, but eventually due to the lack of a large player base, get lonely and eventually leave. We need you, and you, and you... Come by and give us a try. If you like us, stick around, bring your friends. We would love to have you.

I would try this MUD, but I am unable to connect for some reason. Perhaps this explains the lack of players. I love to try out new MUDs (new for me, at least), so please let me know when we are able to connect again.

That is really odd. It hasn't been down at all.. are you trying from telnet or from another client? We would love for you to try us..

Maybe try again and see if it goes through. The ip addy is 204.209.44.3
Maybe that will help. Are you getting any type of message when you try?

I've tried both the IP and the domain and both telnet and MUSHclient. I can connect to port 23, so I know the domain/IP is working, so I guess my ISP just blocks port 2020 for whatever reason.
