No, this is not a joke - I'm not just doing it to torment all of you who have been constantly emailing me since the game went down...

Assault: High Tech War will reopen this sunday, so if you're an old player who grew tired of searching for another Mud, log on. If you haven't played the game yet and you call yourself a hard-code PKer, you've seen nothing yet.

The Mud features a lot of new work - new buildings, new flight code, underground building. Some of the old, less liked code was removed. A whole bunch of new guns were added, new upgrades, new armor code, new new new... You'll just have to check it out for yourselves.

WOO! go amnon! i cant wait to get back on and see all the new features and stuff. good job with the speedy upgrade.

if anyone hasnt tried assault, i highly suggest you do. unless, i suppose, if you dont like PK. and myabe even if you dont, try it! its very diffrent then any other PK MUD.

Yeah, Nyril even came up with a pretext to post so that he could use the topic tracker along with an e-mail notification dealie, so he could be on the mud faster then a pirate with a har...well, whatever.

Even if you're working from EST, its 1 hour, 13 minutes, and a handful of seconds that nobody cares to count (49) since you said it would be up

Needs one of those automatic rebooters in case of crash.

Yeah, it's strange... I think Nohup messed up or something, cause when I came back and tried to run it with nohup again, it wouldn't run, though when I ran the normal startup nothing happened.
