I've often given alot of thought to playing Harshlands, but I'm not familiar with the world of Harn, so I've been rather hesitant...

RPI is all I play, and it seems to me that HL and Armageddon are at the top of thier class. I know I love Armageddon, but Harshlands just seems... I dunno, difficult.

Thoughts on how to get into the world without reading the series it's based on?

Thanks.
