Awake 2062 is a Shadowrun MUD based on a heavily customised Circle codebase. We stay true to the Circle look and feel while bringing the rules inline with the Shadowrun RPG system from Wizkids (originally FASA).
All major archetypes are implemented, from Street Sams to Hermetic and Shamanic mages, Deckers, Physical Addepts and Riggers. With opportunities for extensive branching of expertise due to the excellent Shadowrun skill system. We also feature a large world to explore and play in, over 10000 rooms, ranging from the Seattle Metroplex and Tacoma, to the rugged wilderness of Sinsearach and are presently continuing building the already large Portland Metroplex. All locations are extensively detailed and ready for consumption. We heavily encourage RP, with many global and group based quests run regularly by our hard working quest staff. Consitent and imaginative RP is rewarded, and we are always looking to increase our playerbase. Our staff are also very newbie friendly, offering help to new and veteran players who are stuck in a jam. The codebase is heavily evolved, becoming very true to Shadowrun 3rd Edition in both mechanics and spirit. With the recent inclusion of an advanced and continually evolving vehicle system, we have accomodated almost all the avenues available in the TT version of the game.
