Dying tradically in a freak T-16 sky hopper accident, Luke Skywalker is dead. His sister, Leia Organa, unknown to Luke, was raised by Bail Organa of Alderaan much like in the movies. Moreover she fell to the dark side compliments of Emperor Palpatine. Leia died in a lightsaber duel with the Jedi,Obi-Wan Kenobi on Bespin's Cloud City; the city where Han Solo was put in carbonite in the Empire Strikes Back.

Aready, two worlds - Ryloth and Klatooine - have been blown
to space dust by the Death Star. Now, the Death Star has been destroyed and Emperor Palpatine has been assassinated at the hands of the ever growing Rebellion. In the aftermath, warlords and faction leaders begin the struggle to dominate the galaxy. Although, currently a single mouse droid has seized control of all electronic devices, starships and druids included. This droid, Hal One, has taken control of many planets, one including Tatooine, which was in the Corporate Sector Authroities control. The “organics” have yet to wage an attack on this Hal One… will *you* be the one to bring down this droid and save the Galaxy?

... Let me emphasize the fact that Reach of the Empire's storyline does not reflect on what happened in the movies. It is a player ran storyline. A lot of things have changed at the moment interms of the storyline, but it's a great thing. It gives the player (you) the option to do WHATEVER you want in the storyline, granted you talk to an administrator beforehand. Also, in RoE, you can do whatever you want that doesn't have to deal with the storyline directly. You can make your character into anything from a Musician, to a Tusken Raider, to an elite Stormtrooper, et cetra.

- In-game currency (Banking system)

-Language system

-Combat System (dice rolling, etc.)

-Organizations (Ranging from the Imperial Navy to a Band! You can make your own!

-Title system (Sick of those default title given to you in other games? Well, in RoE you can give yourself a title!

-Detailed medical/healing system

-Highly detailed Space system. Called: OSpace. (You can pilot starships ranging from: a Z-95 Headhunter to a CR90 Corellian Corvette! And yes, you can be a TIE Fighter pilot and an X-Wing pilot)

-Bounty system (Very helpful system to get those bounties for local hunters)
