Bleached InuYasha Galaxy (previously known as InuYasha Galaxy) is a hybrid MUD that mixes together the Bleach and InuYasha anime series into one unique intense adventure.
Our average player count ranges from 5-20 players online. One of our most unique features is our shard system, where shards (shikon shards) of a jewel (the Shikon no Tama) have been scattered across both eras, thus players can find these shards and use them to increase their own power by embedding them into body parts as well as attaching them to items. This plays a very important role in our intense PK system as well. There is virtually no limit for the strength of a player, and we have absolutely no stock areas, classes, or races. Since players have full control over the clan system, clan wars become extremely bloody (and even more so with shikon shards in play). For more details, check out our TMC listing. We are also hiring Immortals. biyg.org port 1801 Website: http://www.biyg.org |

We have recently redone our introduction area (where newbies start), so if anyone could sign on and take a look we would appreciate that. We're looking for feedback on the area to see if we should do more improvements. Thanks! We also added a new area for newbie Humans, as well as a sub-race system. Sign on and check the changes command for more details.

Hmm. Having watched a lot of Inu Yasha and a bit of Bleach... I am having a hard time imagining how you mix the mythos of the two without seriously strangling (as it homocide) one or both sets of cannon for the two series. The former only barely allows for something vaguely like Bleache's "hollows", and in fact might seriously contradict it and the later pretty much rules out anything "but" humans and hollows, with no demons being allowed, unless they are the later.
But good luck with that... |

It's one of the concerns we had when deciding to add Bleach as a theme. "Will adding Bleach dilute the MUD such that it worsens the MUD?" for example.
But at this time after almost 3 months of added Bleach, I think it is going to blend well. We never really had a real death system, but the plan that was discussed with the other Immortals which combines InuYasha and Bleach for the death system looks to be something well done. That's just an example. The Bleach theme basically becomes an add-on for the MUD. You have Demons/Half-Demons running around, and after adding the Bleach theme we could have Demons running around that are a Shinigami (Death God). So while the InuYasha theme stays as a base, the Bleach theme isn't just thrown into the MUD haphazardly. We aren't really trying to stick to both themes perfectly, that sort of limits our creativity doesn't it? |
