Rumbling drums begin as the scene cuts from the mysterious eyes to the following fast-edit montage, which features:

* A felinoid Demarian, about seven feet tall, extending its claws and leaping toward a shorter reptiloid Nall, which flashes its fangs and readies to meet the attack with claws of its own.
* A massive battle fleet closing on a cloud-swathed blue-green world.
* Hundreds of crystalline jellyfish-like Centaurans flinging themselves from the sky toward the icy surface of their homeworld.
* A smirking man with a crewcut standing in the observation deck of a dirigible that floats beneath the dome of a ruined world inside a violet-blue nebula as he says, "Kill them. Kill them all."
* Mechanoid killing machines stomp through an elegant city square under rose-colored skies, gunning down screaming citizens.
* A Coreseeker missile slams through the crust of a heavily forested world. That world is shattered by the subsequent explosion, with great chunks of the planet hurling toward the camera, which goes black.
