There will be several events held during the December. And no,
you aren't too late to participate in them! They are:

* 18th December: Fishing marathon
* 21th December: Maroz event (may last several boots)
* 29th December: Hunting marathon

In addition to giving a prize for the winner also a random participant gets a special prize for participating.

There have been lots of updates in the game during the past six months, such as:

-Completely new and unique(you won't find this anywhere else)
Army of Vaerlon - guild, watch these battlehardened warriors
shouting out orders and keeping those frail mages alive in the combat.

-New Infecti Tyro path, bodyguards to the Czar of Graemor

-The battle code was altered and changed (Battle Code v. 2.3)

-New breeds of cancuns and thri-kreens have been emerging
from the woods near the Volcano in the northern parts of the
valley. These new breeds sport variety of racial mutations that
are result of countless generations of fighting between these two races and only the fittest have survived.

-NPC curses.

-New subguild for the Monks of Temperance and the Gaesati Shapeshifters.

-New hunting code.

-Unification of Dhubr -subguild (Available to dark elfs who
worship the Earth element and are a part of the Earth Priests or
the Sorcerers guild.) received a major uptune.

-Lots of new areas and topend eq-monsters. You thought exping
was fun? Just wait until you're leading a party of 9 players in a
massive battle against Ghuatzskh, the vile and enormous green
dragon occupying the eastern swamps of Valkor.

- Lots and lots of other things.
