Advertising for Players

A contest is currently running to recruit new players!
Prizes will be given to the top three players bringing in
the most new players that play for more than 30 hours by April 30, 2004.

The person bringing in the most players will win:
- A free room (either totally new, or added to an existing home)
- A personal mob (like a cat, dog, cow or chicken)
- A custom admin hosted RP event
- A custom outfit

The person bringing in the second most players will win:
- A free room (either totally new or added to an existing home)
- A custom outfit

The person bringing in the third most players will win:
- A custom outfit

Absolutely. Just saying the whole post deters from the mud, so when you think you're going to get players from advertisements, ones like this will turn players like me away, just letting the poster know.

I dont blame either Delerak or the person who posted the advertisement. I'm in the same position as her, I have a new mud and I want everyone to be on it, although I don't do the same things as her! But I don't mind Delerak being ****ed off about it either, since it is kinda stupid to advertise like that, but I do it too, and what can you do at your starting stages? Advertise, Advertise, Advertise! Best of luck to all of you.
