This is a discussion on "The Hyborian Lands MUD" in the Top Mud Sites Advertising for Players forum : The Hyborian Lands MUD is back! We have a new host, and we are done with playtesting (which received a very favorable opinion from the playtesters) and we are seeking players! If your looking for a MUD with a Hyborian/Conan world simulation, look no further! THL uses a highly modified SMAUG codebase, with all original zones/areas (there are no stock/public areas). Heres some features: The country of Zamora is currently explorable (with areas/cities such as: Shadizar, Arenjun, Kezankian mountains, Zamoran Plains..etc) Many familiar Hyborian and non-Hyborian races (such as: Aquilonians, Cimmerians, Stygians, Khitans..etc) ... |

The Hyborian Lands MUD is back! We have a new host,

If your looking for a MUD with a Hyborian/Conan world simulation, look no further! THL uses a highly modified SMAUG codebase, with all original zones/areas (there are no stock/public areas). Heres some features: The country of Zamora is currently explorable (with areas/cities such as: Shadizar, Arenjun, Kezankian mountains, Zamoran Plains..etc) Many familiar Hyborian and non-Hyborian races (such as: Aquilonians, Cimmerians, Stygians, Khitans..etc) PlayerKilling featured as: Vampires vs ALL (can ally with or kill Sorcerers) Sorcerers vs ALL (can kill other Sorcerers) (no level limits, all zones/areas strategically designed for playerkill/roleplay, many SMAUG PK features have been modified or removed all together) THL mobs are smarter than mobs using stock SMAUG code Many in-game quests and puzzles, alot of them derived from your favorite Conan stories!
