This is a discussion on "Dragonball Evolution Open for 5 Years!" in the Top Mud Sites Advertising for Players forum : This month is the 5th year of DBE being open. We've managed to evolve from Circlemud 3.0/DBX into an unique Dragonballz MUD with multiple influences from other animes/themes. Downtime is something almost unheard of on DBE, we try our hardest to ensure the MUD is up 24/7, 365 days of the year. New updates are constantly being added in by myself and the hard working staff. Dragonball Evolution Open for 5 Years!
This month is the 5th year of DBE being open. We've managed to evolve from Circlemud 3.0/DBX into an unique Dragonballz MUD with multiple influences from other animes/themes. Downtime is something almost unheard of on DBE, we try our hardest to ensure the MUD is up 24/7, 365 days of the year. New updates are constantly being added in by myself and the hard working staff. Last night we added in a very nice update, Dragonball Radars. Here's some information on it from our help file system.
Info for Dragonball Radars in Mud: Radars are used to help players find the Dragonballs when released in-mud. They work an infinite number of times, but can only be used once every ten minutes. When used, a Radar can reveal one of three options: Either what Dragonballs are currently loaded on the mud, who has them (if any are collected yet), or nothing at all. The higher the quality of the Radar, the better the chance to get detailed info. Quality from worst on the left to best on the right are Dragon/Namekian/Blackstar. Make sure to hold the Radar in order to use it. This new feature makes our Pvp system even more intense since you can hunt down other players for their dragonballs. We plan to work on this idea even more and make it even more unique. |
