Arcane Realms takes place in Medieval Wales, around 850 AC.  The Isles are in turmoil, and the clash between old and new at its peak.  The religion of Christ and the Holy Trinity sweeps into the lands while the older religions are struggling for foothold.  A new cardinal has been appointed in Caerdydd, and the houses of the Magi has fled the city for fear of persecution.

Since Arcane Realms takes place on an alternate timeline we are not overly bound by actual history, though we have chosen to incorporate certain elements of European history into our story, we leave a lot of the actual history up to our players to do and act and add their characters to Welsh history as we know it.

We have been working on this project since 1999, though it was first planned in 1997, so we have been around for some time, and we are not planning on going away any time soon if we can help it.

The game engine is finally getting sorted out, and we have most of the larger cities mapped out already.  What we need is good builders, people that want to write, people that live to write.  I know these persons are hard to come by, and I try myself to write, and I find it hard to do since I lack inspiration after 8 hour long coding sessions in the middle of the night.
