Greetings Adventurer!

Seasons of Almadyn LP MUD is seeking additional staff members to share
and make their ideas come true! We are once again accepting applications
for builder or coder positions to get us ready for the inevitable
beta-testing phase.

Lately, Seasons of Almadyn's mudlib staff has sprouted and we have made
many new additions and improved a multitude of existing features to
enhance the gameplay experience. Our philosophy is that we are here to
build this world for the players we look foward to meeting when we
become fully-operational for players.

But, if you're not interested in mudlib or anything like that, we also
take applicants who love to work in other facets of the hierarchy. We
offer various MUD teams including Education, Balance, Quality Control
(QC), Lore, Law, Player Relations, and Design. Take your pick! We are
always looking for those who are creative or have a knack for other
things.

If you are interested in becoming apart of a team that gets the job
done AND has fun while they're doing, log into Seasons and talk up some
of the wizards! We are always willing to set aside some time to chat
with potential immortals and look foward to meeting each new player that
logs in.

Now for the business part!
Coder applicants: There are still a few projects that require
completion. Your input is important as NO in-game mudlib project on
Seasons of Almadyn is ever the product of just one mind; we all work
together to throw our ideas out via channels, mudmail, email, etc! If
you like working in that type of friendly environment, then I suggest
you stop on by. Here are a few of the projects that are in need of
some assistance:

- status object daemon/inherit
- implementing death penalties
- revamping our housing situation
- about a dozen others (ask for info on MUD)

Builder applicants: If you've got ideas and love to create all-original
areas, then perhaps you belong in our family. We have high standards for
area quality, but even if you're not the best or strongest writer, we
can help you. Many builders have learned a way with words after just a
few chats with our QC staff and reading but a few documents on the
conventions we use in our areas and the descriptions we expect. Anyone
can be a builder and we will work with you on a day-to-day basis,
answering your questions and showing you the ropes. Our MUD offers you
the ability to utilize a number of excellent inherits such as:

- rooms offering different long desc for day/night hours + doors
- 10 different weapon types including bows!
- holdable relics
- easy-to-use guild and skill and spell inherits
- blacksmiths, buy & sell stores, and novelty shops
- mechants (travelling or not )
- stackable item inherit (arrows, stones, etc)
- configurable containers of all shapes and sizes
- home points where a player can change login room
- food and beverage (that will hopefully soon integrate statuses)
- interactive monsters; customizable (A LOT more than a level)
- multimonster and smartmonster additions
- post offices, banks, and likewise
- many other inherits all user-friendly and customizable

A great MUD is built by great people and a successful MUD is run by a
successful staff that can always turn a frown into a smile. The staff at
Seasons of Almadyn is a close one, and even wizard recruited after the
initial staff was there have fit right in. Come see what we have to offer
and maybe you'll be at home there to, just like the staff and I are.
