This is a discussion on "EdgeE seeks applicants for upcoming project!" in the Top Mud Sites Advertising for Staff forum : After a very successful semi-closed alpha-testing phase of World of the Dead and .Dimension 2, we are looking at hunkering down and pulling our resources together for our next MUD. After a very successful semi-closed alpha-testing phase of World of the Dead and .Dimension 2, we are looking at hunkering down and pulling our resources together for our next MUD. Game-Dev is already in progress, but EdgeE is looking for several builders and one coder.
There are few requirements, though one in particular is extremely important. 1) Applicants must be familar with Sierra's Adventure RPG series, "Quest for Glory". 2) Applicants must have a sense of humor. 3) Applicants must work well under a Project Designer's creative vision. 4) Applicants are preferred to have previous experience in game-dev programming or game level/area-design. 5) Applicants should possess superior writing and communication skills. This is a very exciting project that will draw its playerbase from many venues. If you have an old, forgotten love for the Quest for Glory series, I strongly urge you to contact me to apply for a chance to become involved. Throwing this one back up out there, since there was a drive-by spam-posting. Looking for really good writers in particular, who are at least familar with the award-winning RPG series, "Quest for Glory". See original post.
