A Forum has been established and some structure created to attempt to design and then build a Mud via a very democratic process.
They are looking for people to participate in the discussions and events on the Forum, as well as people to actually work on a Mud eventually. http://forum.realmofchimera.com I have found the debates to be quite enjoyable so far and I encourage everyone to take a look. A.T (-) |

I've been thinking lately, with the massive popularity of Wikipedia and wikimedia in general, how long until someone will make a WikiMUD. I don't mean a wiki about MUDs, I mean a MUD where the rooms are entries in the wiki and anyone can edit them. I'd love to do a project like this if I only had more time.

They are looking at allowing Players to build quite a lot of things, including Structures but there will be some limits, and oversight.
There are of course a lot of Players who have plenty of creativity but I do not think the majority really does. But I have to admit an WikiMud is an interesting idea. A.T (-) |
