Dear Mud Community,

Muds always Change and Perished Lands Mud, A Smaug Based mud running for 5 years, is also constantly changing and evolving. One thing we have noticed is our mud has changed so much since it's opening and we may have lost touch of what players really want and are looking for in a mud. This letter is an open invitation to anyone who wishes to help us with our goal. That is, to find a few player testers that are interested in helping us get better at what we do.

This is not your standard invitation to come play our game, but is more a request for help. Our player base is very lite these days - and we are wondering what it is that we need to offer to attract more of you. Since we are asking something of you - we are prepared to offer you some favors in return. Some of the bonuses we will be giving to you is a custom place to live - a bonus kit - some bonus levels, etc - keeping with the balance of the game - but we think it might help to spark some interest in our very large world.

If your interested in helping us - it is important that when you login, you tell an immortal in private that your here for the player testing job. We will explain the rules of player testing and how we will offer you the bonus.

It is our goal that after all is said and done - we might retain your player, and or promote you into the staff so you can help us again, in other ways. So if your interested in playing (and helping us) -- we hope you will think about this offer. Our hope is to get 30+ playertesters to jumpstart Perished Lands once again. We also want to train some new builders - so stop on by!
