Hi, I am presently working with a small group of developers on a new fantasy-themed roleplaying game, and we are looking for a motivated and mature coder familiar with Java to join our team.

In short, our team believes that in order to run a successful and engaging roleplaying game, one must have a supportive and well-designed code base to work from. With that in mind, we have been seeking to closely re-examine every aspect of roleplaying MUDs in creating a new, and hopefully more enjoyable, game. We have been working on our general design for a couple of years now, although we have moved into an active development stage only a few months back. Some of the design work that we have been focusing on recently includes a skill system that will allow players to create and teach their own personalized styles of abilities (ranging from crafting to magic to combat) and a roomless system for navigation.

We are a small, ambitious team that is looking to spend however long it takes to create an advanced and well-thought out roleplaying system that will more than rival anything that we have personally played. Currently, we are looking for an additional coder to help catch our code up to some of our design.
