This is a discussion on "Medieval Times looking for a coder!" in the Top Mud Sites Advertising for Staff forum : Medieval Times is a well establshed mud with a small but loyal following. We have been up for over 10 years. It is a hack-n-slash Circle heavily modified. We are currently looking for another coder to fill in where our others are not able to contribute due to RL. The atmosphere is friendly and we do require anyone interested to at least login and play for a little bit to get the 'look and feel' of the MUD. We are currently looking for another coder to fill in where our others are not able to contribute due to RL. The atmosphere is friendly and we do require anyone interested to at least login and play for a little bit to get the 'look and feel' of the MUD. The MUD has potential of being great, and is probably one of the best underrated MUD out there. We have as many if not more features than most pay MUDS out there, and we plan to continue to add things and to be up for a very long time.
Knowledge needed: C/C++ compiling/linking (linux) MySQL C API cvs (basic) If you think you or someone you know might be interested in contributing to the codebase at MT please login and check us out. telnet://mud.lordtrox.com 8500 http://mud.lordtrox.com:8505 again, we do require that any potential staff login, and play for a little while and get to know the mud and the players to make sure that everyone gets along somewhat decently.
