This is a discussion on "Sparkplay hiring (paid positions)" in the Top Mud Sites Advertising for Staff forum : Sparkplay Media (a spin-off from Iron Realms Entertainment) is hiring for a number of positions. I've posted here about a few of them before but we've added a number of positions in the meantime. You can find a list of positions here. Sparkplay hiring (paid positions)
Sparkplay Media (a spin-off from Iron Realms Entertainment) is hiring for a number of positions. I've posted here about a few of them before but we've added a number of positions in the meantime. You can find a list of positions here.
In particular, some of you might be interested in checking out the listings for Admin Assistant/Office Manager and LAMP Engineer, neither of which require any previous professional games experience. On the Admin Assistant/Office Manager job we'd prefer someone who might like to move into game development a couple years down the road (providing he/she proves capable at some aspect of it, be that QA, design, or even coding). Note that these are full-time jobs that require that you live in or are willing to relocate to the Bay Area (specifically, our offices are in the North Beach area of San Francisco). Pay for all of these positions is industry-competitive and includes benefits.
