Queue the drumroll! With the release of the Atonement website [ATONEMENT RPI] and with the soon-to-be opening of the game, we are now hiring for the following positions:



BUILDERS - All things building from programs to objects, npcs, and rooms. No crafting necessary.
CRAFTERS - Testing, balancing and writing skill-based crafts for various purposes.
CODERS - We do not have the ability to train coders. This position is available for any talented floaters out there wanting to become involved with an exciting project.

Volunteering as a staffer or guide for any game requires determination, thick skin, and dedication. There will be times where the tasks put before you are often tiring and tedious. There will be times where you must deal with unsavory things. There will also be times where you will heatedly disagree with the opinions of other staffers or players or situations where your actions will be judged for fairness. Being a staffer or guide means being able to cope with often stressful and very taxing things; yet, despite that, our available positions are very rewarding. We value honesty and integrity and we like to think that we hire the very best to work on a project that has great potential to break new ground in the MUDing Community. So, if you are interested in joining our team, our application guidelines are listed below:

6. Why you'd make a good member of the staff/guide:
7. If you are applying for the position of builder, please supply us with one s/d/full description each for an object, room, and NPC of your own creation. If you are applying for the position of a crafter, please create a craft with the written craft commands or by step-by-step instruction (like a cooking recipe). If you are not familiar with the RPI Engine's crafting system, then this would not be a good starting position for you.

Note that experience -does- matter and that we are looking to create an amazing game filled with extraordinarily talented and good-natured people.

We have already received a number of great applications for these positions in just a few days of having posted the hiring notice. We have made some decisions, though we are waiting until we remove the notice within the next few days to contact those who have applied. If you have applied and are waiting, just know that we will get back to you soon.

If you have not yet applied, but are interested in doing so, we encourage you to get your applications in as soon as possible; we will only be hiring the number of staff-members that we need, as we do not want to drain resources from other MUDs or from our own potential playerbase more than need-be.
