I mostly use Lynx to look at the forums here, it causes less of a strain on my system. I spend 90% of my time on my computer in a text-only Virtual Console, using tinyfugue, emacs, console ftp to do my coding and mudding, so its just natural to me. One of the problems I have is that the buttons for posting a new thread or replying to a post here are invisible in a text only browser. You have an alt of "" for them. One of the problems I have is that the buttons for posting a new thread or replying to a post here are invisible in a text only browser. You have an alt of "" for them. If you replaced that with "[Post new thread]" or "[Post reply]" It would be more lynx friendly. With all the new handheld devices out there with a text-based interface, Lynx is not dead and webpages still need to be friendly to it.
