Metaplace - Metaplace Announcement

Looking for Community Beta Partners Hey Everybody! We are looking for a handful of small-to-medium sized community sites to test the embedding features of Metaplace. Your community site could be one of the first public sites to have its own fully-functional Flash-based virtual world smack-dab in the middle of it. Your users will be able to create customized avatars, socialize, pelt each other with random objects, share YouTube videos, compare stock portfolios and a interact with whole bunch of other fun features! All this for the reasonable price of free. Our only request is that you and your community give us good feedback on what you like and what you don’t. If you’re interested, please send me an email at jason@metaplace.com. Please include the following information: * Name, url and brief description of the community * Estimated number of unique monthly visitors/members * Type and version of forum software that you’re running * Ability / willingness to do some simple php integration If you’re an active participant in an online community that you think should be part of the Metaplace Community Partner Beta, send your administrator an email asking them to contact us with the above-mentioned information.

Just FYI, Raph Koster runs Metaplace -- so he might be down with a mud site stepping up for this beta.
