This is a discussion on "heyo there! I lurk no more!" in the Top Mud Sites Introduce Yourself forum : Yep, Ive been lurking here for a while, and with the closing of Evarayn, Ive been forced into the light to quest for another MU*. My first text game experience (not a real MU* though) was LOTGD. Legend of the Green Dragon, a browser based text RPG based off of the old text game LORD (legend of the red dragon). Soon after that I also played UD (urban dead) for a while, which was another browser based text game (not really that much text though, more like maps). Yep, Ive been lurking here for a while, and with the closing of Evarayn, Ive been forced into the light to quest for another MU*. My first text game experience (not a real MU* though) was LOTGD. Evarayn was my first real MUD, and other than it I have only dabbled in Achaea, so my total MUD experience is only about 1.5-2 years.
I'll post a thread talking about what Im trying to find in a MUD in just a few minutes, but really wanted to introduce myself to ya'll first! Glad to meet a large community of gamers who love text games, and know that graffix dont make the game, the RP and gameplay does! |
