I began playing MUDs in the 1990s when the AberMUDs still had a decent playerbase. After sometime on Utopia, Infinity, and Nothern Lights, I began playing BatMUD in 1996 and continued off and on there since. My recent internet activity has been on Wikipedia, and when it became obvious that Wikipedia policies made it very difficult to publish information about MUDs, I recently started MUD Wiki on Wikia, MUD Wiki. It is hoped that that venue will be contributed to by the MUD community.

I'm going to put our WP:NOT failure, quadrupled AfDed, DRVed, and WP:WTFPWNED entry there.

Fred, thanks for everything you tried to do to help. We really appreciate it.

Hopefully people will indeed start adding entries to the MUD Wiki.

Well, there's WikiMu*, too. Someone already added our entry there.

WikiMU* seems to use a less powerful software, but as Brody pointed out in a different thread, it IS free.

My bad. It's been some time since I've been to WikiMU*. It's a million times faster now, and it looks beautiful!

I began mudding on AberMUDs nearly 15 years ago and at one time I had an archwizard named Xena on Utopia
