This is a discussion on "Hello" in the Top Mud Sites Introduce Yourself forum : Hey all. I figured it's about time I join this forum since I browse through it often enough. I haven't actually played a mud in many years. I have dreams of coding one from scratch, and I've tried many times. At this point, I believe I have the ideas and know how to do so, I just let myself get distracted too easily. That sucks, cause playing my mud in my head isn't quite the same as playing it for real. Anyway, glad to be here.... |

Hello

I too am a bit of a lurker, in that I've had an account here but I rarely use it. *grin* Welcome to the boards. I want to code a MUD from scratch as well, and I've been working on it slowly with a friend (dev language is Java).
