Introduce Yourself

Well I guess I should start by saying a little about myself. My real name is Chris and I live in Oxford, in the UK and I'm 15.

I got into MUDing a couple of years back when I discovered Wolfenburg. Been playing it for the last two years, but I'd never really played any other MUDs. Well recently I've been trying to "broaden my horizons", been looking around at a few other MUDs, though with zMUD deciding not to work for me it has been a bit tricky on telnet :S.

I'm really interested in MUDs and I'm hoping to get to know a little more about them. At the moment I'm learning a bit about building (at the builders acadamy), and really enjoying it.

Reason I decided to register for these forums is that I like discussing things, giving my opinion, and genrally just sticking my nose in everywhere

. So I'm hoping to learn a lot and at the same time share my thoughts and ideas with the rest of you.

So anyway, that's basically a short introduction.

Hey, that's greyt! If you really wanna broaden your horizons, experiment on MUDs with various codebases. There are many, many out there, and even within each codebase, MUDs still customize much of their own gameplay. Play your cahds right, and you could find yourself elsewhere! Maybe even building on my mud! Check out EVERY MUD, not just the top 20 or so. Get to know it all and famaliarize yourself with what there is to offer and at (normally) no cost! Remember - knowledge is power.
