This is a discussion on "Mud Hosting Recommendations" in the Top Mud Sites MUD Administration forum : I am currently looking for a new host for a mud I am developing and would appreciate any recommendations anyone might have for a reliable mud hosting service. Obviously, cheaper is nice, but my priority is more towards a professionally run service with good turn-around time on any tech support issues. For portability reasons, I would prefer a service that runs RedHat on their boxes.... |

We've had good experience with Mudmagic.com, looks like they use RedHat. You can customize what kind of package you want, so you only pay for what you need. I've always had quick responses whenever I had a question or problem. Way more reliable than my previous hosting site (Betterbox).

Wolfpaw's more expensive than those listed above but their service has been excellent. When the FC3 we had on our server was causing us problems, they offered and installed FC5 for free and we were up and running again in no time. Like I said, they're a bit costly, but don't forget that old saying, "you get what you pay for."
Take care, Jason |

I really like the way they deal with everything and I don't think you can find any better deals. |

We've been using Wolfpaw for hosting during development, and they've been pretty quick and reasonable with their support. Soon we will be moving to our permanent home, which is a normal commercial hosting company(owned by a friend of mine) for pure dedicated hosting of our site and game.
