Greetings,

Due to the DDOS's over Christmas, we have developed (along
with MudMagic) a way to detect, and share IP's of hosts
whom are currently DDOS'ing muds, or hosts.

Currently the list contains 3902 IP's (though we will
release quite a few today to see if they are still
hitting us). This list was started Xmas Eve. The attacks
have ranged from 4 to upwards of 75 MBit/sec.

I will only be making our list, and details on how to
use it, and how it is generated available to
hosts I know of, and feel I can trust.
(Sorry, just the way it needs to be)

If your interested, and your a hosting company, feel
free to email admin@wolfpaw.com. For those of you who
don't agree with this kind of ddos defense, just don't
ask for the list

Hey -

Is this something you'd consider making available to those of us who host our own games on dedicated, self-managed server setups?

We've been getting love-tapped by a couple morons lately, but thankfully nobody who was competent enough to cause serious problems on our end.

To some, yes I would. I am hesitant to make it public, or just dish it out, because I don't want the potential DDOS people knowing which IP's we block, or to figure out how we are doing it. This is why I will only share it with a "reputable" party. IE someone who is known and has an interest in not
making this kind of info public.

For you, yes.. drop me an email, im going to put up an email list, to discuss implementation of it in quick and simple manner. There are a good number of folks already interested.
