This is the latest and greatest (trying to sound positive) TinTin++ with some minor improvements.
Runs on: - OS X 10.3 (compiled binary on web site) -Most linux systems (compiled binary on web site as well) -Cygwin, instalation instructions on the web site, if you follow them it will run pretty much the same as on a linux sytem. Some of the new features: -mccp v2 -naws (window size/resize reporting stuff) -up to 1 million lines of scroll back -grep on the scroll back buffer (#grep gossip, etc, to display the gossips in the buffer, beats special screens if you ask me) -full color html logging / buffer dumping -patched up and improved scripting engine -full vt100 support (when using a vt00 console) -macros -improved prompt capturing (script examples for it on the site) -easier configuration -text formatting which pretty much works like sprintf -wordwrap -ability to read multi line scripts (bug free now) -slightly faster than the 1.5 version Downsides: -Not 100% compatible with every old tintin script (#readold command available that deals with some issues) -Scripting engine works slightly differently, which can be hard to adjust to for some people. (had 1 angry email so far about that) -Some odd behavior on red hat 9.0 has been reported, (wasn't surprised) which might take a little to be sorted out. All in all it's a nice up to date mud client now, and I'm open for suggestions on further improvements. site: click click |
