Achaea's 450-year anniversary of the Fall of the Seleucarian Empire approaches near! Lasting nearly two weeks in 'real time' (from May 6th to May 19th), the Year 450 commemorative celebrations include a special lottery, surprises, games, and prizes galore. The last such celebration in Achaea, for the 400-year anniversary of the Fall, occurred in August of 2005. The grand champion of the Championship Games during Year 400 won an XBOX 360 and in-game credits worth about $300 USD! Although the nature of the highest prizes for Year 450 have yet to be announced, we are certain to be giving out a plethora of credits and in-game gold, merchandise, and equipment as prizes.

Year 450 kicks off on Sunday, May 6th GMT (5pm PDT Saturday) and the festivities will last until Saturday, May 19th. The kickoff festivities will include a treasure hunt, where bags stuffed with gold and goodies will be scattered all across our huge realm. Over the following two weeks, you can try your luck at the lottery, or test your wit and skills against other players in the exciting Year 450 Championship Games, or participate in the many smaller games and events we'll be running for other prizes.
