Fife - the Fellowship in Fugue Experiment
In the early 20th century, during the first world war, psychologist Arnest Dolkun studies the mystical science of hypnotism in hopes of reproducing a particular mental state, one which he suspects will reveal visions of Faery as experienced in England's recent past. More than just visions, however, he seeks an entrance. Not knowing what will provide the key to perfecting his methods, he has enlisted a growing group of supporters, mostly intellectuals such as himself, but more recently including a broad range of adventurering types. I believe he is being overly optimistic, and have told him so; but he just smiles in his peculiar way. Possibly he has been keeping some developments to himself. Opening for alpha testing in 2007 (or here's hoping). *** A note from the aspiring creator: just practicing positive affirmation, I suppose, or maybe staking a claim. I passed the Air Force EDPT the other day, which means that by next year I hope to have increased my knowledge of computer programming enough to begin coding my own mud while off-duty. On a related note, I expect to break the record for longest development time. |
