This is just a reminder that MUD-Con II is this Saturday! I'm posting this, because I had a number of requests to remind people about the event.

I hope to see you all there, as it's looking like it'll be a lot of fun.

I will also post on the day of the event (to this thread), as there are people who have requested that I do that as well.

Just a reminder that I'll be holding a seminar and Q&A, about an hour long, at MUD-Con tonight at about 8:30 p.m. Eastern. The topic: Heroes, Villains and Shades of Gray.

Well, that does it. At 3:00AM EST, MUD-Con II officially ended. I'll try to get the logs for MUD-Con II up ASAP. :)

That was _a lot_ of fun, and I found out some _really_ interesting things about various muds and ideas for them. Anyone who missed out on it should DEFINITELY go to it next time.

Yes, definitely a lot of fun, wish I could have stayed longer. It was great to see some old friends and meet some new.

Indeed, for what little time I was able to stay I enjoyed it as well. Would have liked to stay longer but hey, gotta make the money to keep life rolling somehow

I found it very interesting, but the main reason for my going was the Story Competition and it was never even mentioned for the three hours I was there. Was it postponed and/or are the winners and their stories going to be posted for us to read?

Sorry for missing it I didn't notice it was a saurday when i said i'd defenitly make it

and I didn't know it would still be goign when i got home at 12:30 est

Vorpal, I'm not trying to be rude here so please don't take it that way... I told you multiple times throughout the MUD-Con that the winners would be announced probably on Monday. That I had to wait on the last two judges to submit their results. I also told you that you would be mailed the results of the story contest, one they were in.

And as for it 'never even mentioned' that's a lie. I spoke to you I know at least three times about it. I also announced twice I think it was (over the chat channel) that the winners would be announced later, that I was waiting on the results. I also mentioned that the results would be posted on the MUD-Con site, and probably here at TMS.

MUD-Con and the Master Storyteller Competition are two different events. They are, of course, related... but different events none-the-less. So, coming to MUD-Con and not seeing much at all about the Storyteller Competition is somewhat expected.

There was absolutely tremendous spam in my room, on the multiple channels, on people 'telling' me etc., so I may have easily missed it, but I never heard a thing. I caught the edge of something you sent me but it scrolled up past my bumper within seconds.
