OtherSpace Open House - Friday, June 28, 12 p.m. EST - whenever

On Friday, June 28, OtherSpace will celebrate its fourth anniversary with an open house. Starting at 12 p.m. EST, doors will be opened from the Realm of the Dream to the many worlds of OtherSpace, and visitors (whether they have approved character concepts or not) will be allowed to roam and mingle with characters in the OtherSpace universe for a day of sometimes out-of-character/sometimes in-character fun.

OtherSpace Fourth Anniversary Celebration Schedule:

Friday, June 28, 2002

Noon EST OtherSpace Fourth Anniversary Celebration begins.
6 P.M. EST Fundraising effort ends - Free book drawing! (Someone gets a free copy of OtherSpace: End of the World)
6:30 P.M. EST Q&A with OS Creator Wes Platt (Brody), Dream Tavern
9 P.M. EST SivArc II Awards

We'll be suspending all arc activities and major RP events, and opening all the worlds of OtherSpace to visitors both in and out of character, with or without applications, for our open house activities. Those who decide to stick around beyond June 28, of course, will need to get characters approved.

And good luck to the nominees in the SivArc II Awards! The Arc XIII OtherSpace Roleplaying Awards will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002.

Our open house activities on Friday, June 28, will likely include recruitment opportunities with various in-game organizations.

No specific schedule for these recruitment meetings yet, but some may be added to our +calendar at OtherSpace soon.

Thanks to everyone who turned out for the open house! We'll probably hold another one before the start of Arc XIV: The Moebius Shift in September.
