As part of the ongoing Year 400 Celebrations in Achaea, we have unveiled a new arena game called King of the Hill! This exciting and fast-paced game is played with two teams that battle it out within the arena for control over the Hill and the Flag. The team that can keep the King of the Hill Flag planted up to a preset cumulative duration first is the winner.
After the debut game, which was limited to 7 players per team, each of the 14 combatants received credit prizes: 100 each to the winning team and 25 each to the rest! While Achaea's complex, fantastic combat system is thrilling enough in one-to-one combat, I think it really shines in the chaotic, strategy-heavy, literally breathtaking battles between teams. Achaea will soon be seeing more of this with its upcoming Icon Wars, but in the meanwhile, King of the Hill makes for practice that "rocks" and is "extremely fun", to quote the players of the debut game. Come join us in the rest of the Year 400 festivities! A lottery, a treasure hunt, word scramble games, Spin the Wheel, egghunts and foozle games for gold, and more have already occurred and such events will continue throughout the year. See the full schedule here. |

We in the Sentinels and Eleusis have been playing KOTH for years.
I am so so so so soooo happy that it's been hardcoded as a full arena game and it looks awesome. Thanks this addition. |

Darn, I was hoping this meant you could play a propane salesman or army barber. I was already looking forward to playing Dale.

I wanted to play Bobby.
