This is a discussion on "If you have a few moments..." in the Top Mud Sites MUD Announcements forum : I rarely drag RL into the mud world, but in this case, I feel it is more than warranted. I've replaced the "normal" entry webpage for Feudal Realms with a new message, I'll let it explain itself, but if you have a few moments, please go and read it... I sympathize with your family and appreciate the information your new page gives. My step-mother died of leukemia after her family refused to donate bone marrow that would have saved her life. They preached to her that the doctors were trying to kill her and whoever donated. Ignorance is a terrible thing.

Yeah, situations like you MIL went through are sad. What's worse is that most people think it's such a long an involved process to get tested AND to donate, when it's really not at all.
