This is a discussion on "MUD-Con Master Storyteller Competition Results" in the Top Mud Sites MUD Announcements forum : Many of you have been waiting on the results of this contest since MUD-Con II started... well, cheer up. The results of the contest will be posted today. The last judge finally got caught up, but my net access has been erratic to say the least. So, later today (probably in an hour or two, after I go over the results), I'll post the results. It will take a while longer before I can post the actual stories, though. BUT, check back later today, as I will (unless someone beats me senseless, the net goes out on me, ... |

Many of you have been waiting on the results of this contest since MUD-Con II started... well, cheer up. The results of the contest will be posted today.

I just received a bit of information from one of the contestants... it appears that Amelia is actually Molly.
The winner of the MUD-Con Master Storyteller Competition II was Molly O'Hara of 4 Dimensions. She submitted the story under a pseudonym. In any case, congratulations, Molly. |

Will you be posting up their stories?
If not you might want to consider doing it for next time round, giving contestants the opportunity to specify if they don't want their story to be posted up when they submit it Congrats to everyone who submitted stories |

Yep, I will be posting, at the very least, the stories of the top three (once I get time, anyway). Also, as is mentioned in the contest rules, by submitting a story, they are granting us the right to post that story if we choose to do so.
If they don't want to allow their story to be posted, they shouldn't submit it. |

The stories written by the first two runners up, Cywry and Darkenvai, are featured on our MUD's website here. Both of these writers are active immortals on our MUD and were thrilled and honoured to find out their stories placed in the top three.
Gratz to Molly if it was she who wrote the winning story - both Cywry and Darkenvai are interested in reading her story. |
