This is a discussion on "New Engine" in the Top Mud Sites MUD Announcements forum : For anyone looking to run their own mud, I have recently released a Windows (.Net) mud engine. This project is 2 years in the making. Information is avaiable at http://dmen.faustianproductions.com Some quick stats: The engine is both fast and reliable, it is Windows (.Net) based, and allows for commercial use. It is extremely intuitive and easy to use. It is aimed at users who would like to write their own codebase from scratch, but would rather concentrate on game logic than program logic.
