We're working on preserving some of the oral history of Armageddon MUD, which is over a decade and a half old now. My hope is to get other staff members as well as some players creating their own videos with time, and perhaps even film some of the staff-player meetings. The plan is for at least one new one per week:

I'd love to hear from other MUD admins working on similar projects.

Neat idea! Seems like an excellent method of chronicling your work for posterity. Not a bad approach for publicity, either. Let us know if that brings new people to your game. One of the Jointhesaga.com players keeps nagging me to do a video blog thing for YouTube and I keep resisting it.

I've never given Armageddon a try, but these videocasts still are interesting. Plus I had no idea that Cat Rambo played muds, cool!

I remember seeing a very funny comic strip that one of your players had made, some time in the past. (In case there are more, this was featuring the adventures of a player who roleplayed a mount in search of a new master, always strictly IC). I'm not sure if anyone who never played text Muds could appreciate the special humour in it, but it certainly gave me some good laughs.

Perhaps you could videofilm some of the funniest strips from that series square by square for YouTube? Just a thought.

Yes! The Baobab the Kank comic strips. I've already suggested that to the artist.

22 is the latest, the series is fairly old and hasn't been updated in a while.

Armageddon MUD Videocast IV - The Lord of Ash Plot (Sanvean)
ArmageddonMUD -- RMBT Demonstration (Raesanos)

They've been a pretty big hit, so I'm trying to add a new one every week or so.
